Apple is looking for a mixed reality expert just 48 hours from WWDC23. Job offer or marketing strategy?

Next Monday is WWDC23 and the hype is through the roof. Apple should introduce all their new operating systems and updates promise. The most important are iOS17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14 there watchOS 10although we are awaiting news for tvOS and other changes.

However, what attracts the most attention and arouses the most anticipation is not that, but the Reality Pro and its operating system: xrOS. Apple has made no official statement in this regard, but a published job offer does nothing can give us a glimpse of what lies ahead.

As published Marc Gurman on Twitter, recently appeared on Apple’s job portal a curious job offer for experts in “Conversational and Generative Artificial Intelligence”. Could they be working on an alternative to ChatGPT? That would make a lot of sense, but that’s not all.

If we continue to read the job posting, we see that it talks about “developing in the field of virtual reality and augmented reality (AR/VR)”. They talk about mixed reality. Interestingly, the same type of technology that would be used by the new Reality Pro.

It’s quite strange that this job posting was posted a few days before WWDC. It can be part of that marketing strategy we told you about some time ago. Or maybe it’s true. In any case, the important thing is that there is nothing left for what will be one of the great technological events of recent years.
