Apple is out of stock for the Apple Watch Series 6 titanium

The current Apple Watch Series 6 with titanium case are rare. It seems that both in the United States and in the rest of the major markets, it is difficult to find an available model of the Apple Watch Edition, that is to say the series 6 in titanium finish.

Taking into account that there is a month and a little more left for the September Apple KeynoteIt is possible that the new 7 Series will launch this year, and this is the reason for the stock shortage.

Marc Gurman posted on his Bloomberg blog that the Apple Watch Edition (the one with the titanium case) is currently not available in the US and the company’s major markets.

Apple has not communicated anything about it, nor that the model has been discontinued or that there are supply issues. The reason is probably the imminent launch of the Apple Watch Series 7, scheduled for September in the keynote that the company will celebrate to present the new iPhones this year.

The theory that Mark Gurman explains on his blog is that this is a very expensive model, and that due to the low sales, the company did not want to manufacture many units, and found itself out of stock.

But I go a little further. Why didn’t Apple make more units when it saw it was going to be out of stock? Because it is possible that, as happened last year with the Apple Watch Series 5, the new Series 7 offers so few new features compared to the current Series 6, that the company decides recall Apple Watch Series 6 when he launches the Series 7, that’s why he hasn’t decided to re-manufacture a series that he plans to withdraw in a month.

We will therefore wait for the next Apple event, in principle for September (without confirmation yet), and we will leave doubts whether my suspicions are true or not.
