For the fourth year in a row, Apple prepares to celebrate International Yoga Day with in-app challenge Activity of our Apple Watch. With the objective of encourages us to be more active on a daily basis and at the same time marking a specific date on the calendar, the Cupertino company has prepared a little challenge.
One more excuse to stay active
The goal of this challenge simply requires that we complete a 20 minute workout while doing yoga throughout June 21st. At the end we will unlock the corresponding price in the Fitness app (on iPhone) and Activity (on Apple Watch).
This challenge joins a list of various activities that Apple generally develops in connection with the celebration and, in addition, when we finish it, it will offer us four animated stickers
Along with other functions, such as starting competitions with our friends, as well as sharing the status of our rings, these regular challenges have become one more way that Apple, through the Apple Watch, uses to encourage us to move and stay more active
By turning our business into a game, Apple is making us more active as Apple Watch users. The Activity app badge might be just a little glittery, but the habit of staying dynamic is gradually setting in. And all of this while we celebrate a special day.
