The arrival of the iPhone X was a radical change in the design of Apple smartphones, it was a step in the right direction for a full screen future. But the Apple logo company has implemented a “notch” (a frame at the top of the screen) which has generated a lot of controversy and criticism.
The iPhone’s notch makes the terminal screen less aesthetic and appealing to the eyes, it also makes it when viewing photos or videos. a small part of the content is hidden. But it’s necessary, since Apple uses it to include hardware related to the front camera and Face ID facial recognition sensors.
A prototype iPhone 13 without a notch
Apple has been developing new technologies for some time to hide the notch under the iPhone screen. And now, according to the latest leaks, the Cupertino company could have prepared a prototype iPhone 13 (or iPhone 14) to test these technologies and the new design.
From WCCFTech, they inform us that a Twitter user called “Mauri QHD” posted a tweet in which he assures us that Apple has developed a prototype iPhone 13 without a notch. This prototype would have slightly wider side borders than current iPhone models.
iPhone 13
there is a prototype with no notch at all,
but -a little- bigger glasses,
which means the 4 sides are also bigger
or maybe iPhone 14? 🤷♂️ pic.twitter.com/xGROzS6BME– Mauri QHD (@MauriQHD) January 28, 2021
We don’t know if this interesting design will arrive this year 2021. or whether it will be necessary to wait until 2022. But anyway, it’s still great news, we love that Apple keeps thinking about the future and how to improve the design of its smartphones.
