Apple has released the third beta version of iOS 16.2 and it is an update that comes with a very important novelty.
Apple released iOS 16.3 beta 3 which comes a week after the launch of the second beta. This is the second major update to the system and we expect the final version to arrive in mid-December.
What’s New in iOS 16.3 Beta 3
This update includes many exciting new features that we have already highlighted in previous betas, little by little Apple is polishing its next update and it will be released to the public in 2-3 more beta updates.
And in this third beta, iOS 16.2 incorporates some interesting improvements, among which one stands out above all. Apple has decided improve always-on display function of iPhone 14 Proincorporating some tweaks that many were asking for.
The always-on display of the iPhone 14 Pro was unconventional, Apple had decided to simply reduce the display brightness to a minimum, also displaying the wallpaper. However, Apple has now included some changes to improve the always-on display.
Since Settings > Display & Brightness > Always On now, in addition to being able to activate or deactivate this function, we have two other switches. We can now disable the wallpaper display option and disable widgets.
That is to say we can leave a permanent completely black screen on iPhone 14 Pro with only the time and widgets, or simply with the time and without widgets. This means that battery consumption can be significantly reduced by enabling this option.
