24 hours after the release of the second for the developer community iOS 15.2, iPadOS 15.2, watchOS 8.3 and tvOS 15.2, as expected, Apple released this second beta for all users who they are part of the public beta program.
These new ones, in theory, are the same versions that were released for the developer community, so there should be no difference, so that the news we find in these new betas is the same as what we released yesterday.
The most important feature of this second beta is the designed to protect minors by detecting nude images that are received or sent through the Messages app, which I already talked about yesterday about how it works in the Developer Beta article.
This second beta also includes a new tool that allows users to grant access to their Apple data so that, in the event of death, can have access to all content. In addition, a new feature has also been added to prevent harassing uses that Apple AirTag may be involved in.
As my colleague Ángel told you, the Search application has also received news with the release of the second beta of iOS 15.2, with two new options: Trackable Items and Help Return Lost Items.
To download these new betas, simply go to the Settings – General – Software update. Once updated to this version, we went to the Apple Watch app to update it to the new beta as well, in case we are part of watchOS development as well.
