Rumors may say we won’t see a Mac Pro in the next opening speechbut that doesn’t mean we won’t see new products at WWDC 2023. Traces of three computers have been discovered in the source code of the Find service, no less.
In this code, it warns that the notification feature that you left these Macs in an untrusted location is disabled, which would imply that these are desktop computers designed not to move around frequently. The ban on making bets is open.
New iMac 2021, analysis: features, specifications and price
Three desktop Macs, soon to be updated
The trace in the code was discovered by developer Nicolás Álvarez, who manages to shell out the following model numbers of the new Macs:
- Mac14.8
- Mac14.13
- Mac14,14
The list of upgradable desktop upgrades is short. The Mac mini M2 are very recent and carry the model numbers Mac14.3 and Mac14.12. And if word is that the Mac Pro isn’t coming, we’re left with either the iMacs we might see in the fall with the M3 chip, or the newer Mac Studio models that inherit the M2 Max chips and a new M2 Ultra.
But of course, Mark Gurman thinks we’re not going to see any Mac Studio updates either until they can fit the professional versions of the M3 chip. SO we come across a clash of clues and rumors with a solution that we won’t be able to see until at least June 5th with opening speech for developers.
With this, we indicate a WWDC with many bets, but few evidence-laden rumors. Can new Macs come out? Yes, can we watch Reality Pro? Probably. But the gaps accumulate and therefore there is more uncertainty than in other years.
