It seems that the very long wait is coming to an end for all Mexicans who read us. Apple Pay launch in Mexico imminent, as we can see from the same official Apple website for this country. At the start of the year, we saw the first signs, but these were turned down and the wait has been extended so far. 9to5Mac was the medium that noticed the signals as well as the tweets from some Mexican users.
The service will arrive in the country with all the features, and it looks like the first banks to offer the integration will be Banregio, Hey Banco, Inbursa and CitiBanamex. This is not confirmed data, but it should not be long before you see it. Mexico, like the United States, has a lot of credit card culture, so the service can take a lot of steam from the early days.

Some companies that will accept Apple Pay like Domino’s or The Cheesecake Factory are also mentioned, but if the system works like in the rest of the world, any payment terminal without contact be used for.
In Europe we have been using Apple Pay for years, although we are still waiting for the arrival of Apple Cash or the Apple Card whose expansion has also long been rumored. It depends, as always, on the willingness of the banks and their negotiations with Apple to make this service possible.
