Apple has updated Big Sur to version 11.0.1 for some users. After this version officially launched on November 12, Apple released a revision with bug fixes and performance improvements, although apparently only for some users.
Revised version and only for certain users
On the day of its launch, Apple introduced the world to Big Sur version 11.0.1. A version that ships with build number 20B29. This version gave some installation errors, in part due to network congestion due to huge user demand.
We don’t know the exact details of this new version, but Apple updated version 11.0.1 to build 20B50.

As happened with version 14.2 of iOS, which also received a revision after its launch, it seems that in macOS an error was detected to fix. As always, the recommendation is to update as soon as we see that a new version is available.
