Apple releases first developer beta of iOS 16.6

It’s now the turn of iOS 16.6, the next major release from Apple. A few hours ago it was published the first beta for developers available in Settings > General > Software Updates from developers who have your Apple ID associated with the Developer Program. Remember that now profiles cannot be transferred and only certified developers can download such builds as they are tied to each Apple ID.

At the moment, no changes have been revealed, but weeks ago there were speculations about the arrival of user verification in iMessage via authentication keys, a feature that was announced at WWDC22 and was pending release. It should also be remembered that iOS 16.6 will most likely arrive after WWDC23 since it will begin in a few days, on June 5th.
