Can you imagine walking your dog and finding huge T. Rex footprints on the beach?

A few days ago, Apple premiered “Prehistoric Planet” on Apple TV+, an incredible documentary that shows us like never before how dinosaurs lived and were connected to our planet millions of years ago. And to promote it, they thought of nothing but create 64 Tyrannosaurus Rex huellas on a Welsh beach.

The beach at Traeth Llyfn in Pembrokeshire was used as a filming location in the breakthrough series. And to create the prints, a team of 10 sand artists who created a prehistoric trail of 50 meters long. This is one of the scenes with which the documentary begins.

Prehistoric Planet combines award-winning nature documentary filmmaking techniques, the latest discoveries in paleontology, and groundbreaking technology to deliver a uniquely immersive experience that shows what Earth’s spectacular habitats and inhabitants looked like in ancient times.

Residents surprised overnight

As reported Plymouth Heraldseveral inhabitants Smooth beach in Pembrokeshire were surprised to see the incredible footprints in the sand. One of the first surprised was Alex Bull, 32, who saw the tracks while walking his dog Cali.

I was walking on the beach and then I saw these footprints, and Cali ran up to them and I was like, what could have done that?

Anna Hatton72, was another of those surprised to see the path with more than 60 dinosaur footprints from the top of the cliff.

Saw these giant footprints from above on the cliff path and came down to have a look. It’s amazing how big they are up close
