Apple “surprised” us by launching the new iPad and iPad Pro with M2 processor, two new tablets from the guys from Cupertino who arrive to renew the company’s range and the truth is that although we expected them, they surprised us. And it is that they were necessary changes, especially in the “cheap” iPad, in the Pro we see changes that make us hope for a more Pro future. After the new versions, Apple released Release Candidate versions of iOS 16.1 and iPadOS 16.1
I have to say that these new RC versions of iOS 16.1 and iPadOS 16.1 are accompanied by watchOS 9.1 RC and macOS Ventura RC, everything is ready for Apple to release the final versions next week. All developers can now install these beta versions via OTA through the software update settings on all devices. The general public will have to wait until next week since Monday, October 24
What does iOS 16.1 bring us?
As we already told you during this month of iOS 16.1 betas, this new version brings the new battery percentage for iPhone XR, 11, 12 mini and 13 mini, which had been left without this design change. Also, the most relevant thing is that iOS 16.1 finally brings iOS 16 (in an improved version) to iPads with iPadOS 16.1 which had been left without iPadOS 16 after the problems brought by the new Stage Manager
