In recent weeks we have discovered many rumors and news about the supposed new device that seems to be preparing at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino. Apparently it would be a hybrid device between a HomePod and an Apple TV, with a touch screen that would integrate a new operating system of which we have already seen a few lines of code in the latest operating systems of the Big Apple. However, Apple gives one of lime and one of sand and has just updated the available colors of the HomePod mini, replacing the previous space gray with a midnight color,
HomePod mini changes: Midnight color replaces Space Gray
In a brief statement, Apple gave the news of the day: A new color is coming to the HomePod mini. Let’s remember that until now we could buy the HomePod mini for 109 dollars in five different colors: blue, yellow, space gray, white and orange. A lot of colors if we compare the only two colors available in the original HomePod: midnight and white.

HomePod mini users can listen to a catalog of over 100 million songs with Apple Music and enjoy surround sound with a single speaker, in a stereo pair, and with multi-room audio. To enhance entertainment, users can even use the smart speaker to create a captivating home theater experience with Apple TV 4K. With Siri, users can access a variety of music information and search by artist, song, lyrics, decade, genre, mood or activity.
The new color of the HomePod mini is known as midnight, available on the larger HomePod. Therefore, what seems more than a new color is an adaptation of terms to bring the colors of the two HomePod models closer together. Because if we analyze the colors of Space Gray and Midnight, we see that perhaps the latter It leans a little more towards the blue color range than the space gray.
So today’s HomePod mini news is slightly decaffeinated since this update. It does not include any new features or new hardware… only a new color, quite similar to the space gray it replaces, and which takes us a little further away from a new generation of this device or even the launch of this hypothetical new device which seems to be developed by Apple.
