Apple releases new updates for its iWork suite apps: Pages, Numbers and Keynote for iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia
As with every arrival of new operating systems, Cupertino’s are making major updates to their work suite, iWork. So Pages, Numbers, and Keynote get new features for iPhone, iPad, and Mac but the most curious thing is that some new functions require an update to iOS 18 or watchOS 11. You can now apply updates via the App Store or download it for the first time if you are not yet a user of one of these office applications.
What’s changing in the iWork suite with iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia
Most changes for all three apps require an update to new operating systems because they are linked to certain developments based on said systems. One of the new features is the Document Explorer, which improves the familiar interface for creating new files or searching for a recently created one. In the case of Keynote, it is possible Use Apple Watch to advance slides in a presentation with a double tap (on supported watches) with watchOS 11.
For iPadOS, it all depends on compatibility with the Apple Pencil Pro and in the case of macOS Sequoia with slide playback during a FaceTime or video conference session. Let’s see precisely what the news is.
