Apple took advantage of the last press conference on financial results to launch the announcement: despite the good sales figures of the Mac division, these sales are now expected to decline due to various factors such as the inflation. But that does not mean that Apple is resigned to contemplating this drop in sales: we must find ways to reverse the trend.
And one of these modes was recently revealed thanks to Bloomberg: it seems that Apple is start offering MacBook Pro discounts to businesses. We are talking about the 14 and 16 inch models with the M1 Pro or M1 Max chip, and be aware that these discounts can go up to 10%.
Buy 25 MacBook Pros and pay less
In more precise numbers, the discount is 8% if between 5 and 24 units of the MacBook Pro are purchased. You can reach this maximum discount of 10% if you buy more than 25 units
The source clarifies that Apple itself describes the campaign as “very special,” including Apple Store company officials actively reaching out to businesses to detail the discount. That Apple is making these corporate promotional calls is something odd
At 9to5Mac they comment that it could also be a good decision to empty the warehouses before the arrival of new models of these MacBook Pro with “M2 Pro” and “M2 Max” chips, which we could see in early 2023 if we lend it pay attention to the latest rumours. We’ll be able to tell whether these business rebates have boosted sales when we look at revenue numbers for the next fiscal quarter in January.
