When will the Apple Watch SE 2 be released?
Everything indicates that it will be in September when Apple announces the new Watch SE (2022). In a way, this would coincide with the launch of the new iPhones 14 and 14 Pro, as well as other no less important products and services.

Technical specifications and new features
There have been few leaks associated with the new smartwatch, but Apple seems to be playing its cards right, so we’re still in the realm of speculation as to what the new model might look like.
Sensor updates
The Apple Watch SE (2020) already has an impressive array of built-in sensors that track your heart rate, activity, and sleep, as well as detect drops and potentially harmful noise levels in your environment.
It is unlikely that the new version can transmit the ECG and blood oxygen functions that the Apple Watch Series 7 without a significant price increase, but Apple has surprised us in the past.
A rumor that has been doing the rounds is that we might see the inclusion of a temperature sensor in the next iteration. It would be an interesting signal to be able to detect in advance a type of infection in the body or follow ovulation for women who wish to conceive a child.

One of the standard upgrades that Apple often uses with new models is to switch to a new processor with each new generation to increase speed and performance.
The Apple Watch SE (2020) comes with the same S5 SiP as the Apple Watch Series 5, so it would make sense for the next version to switch to the S6 SiP which was already integrated into the Apple Watch Series 6.
Improved display
When the Apple Watch SE (2020) was introduced, it offered two screen size options: 44mm and 40mm, which meant it had around 30% more surface area than the Apple Watch Series 3 which was available in either 38mm or 42mm varieties.
This ensures a wider variety of sizes, but it also meant it lagged behind the Series 7, which sported 45mm or 41mm panels, a 20 per cent increase over the Watch SE model.
A basic update would be for Apple to keep the same screen sizes in the new Apple Watch SE 2 (2022), which is more than likely given how the consumables market is doing right now.
Another set of extras
Apple could improve other facets such as adding the always-on display feature that debuted in the Apple Watch Series 5. It’s all speculation and until its final launch, we won’t leave any doubts.
