Everything seems to indicate that the release of the new software update is imminent.
After the arrival of a major security response to iOS 16.4.1, Apple got to work with the development of iOS 16.5 which is currently in beta stage. The new software update for iPhone will receive some very interesting improvements which deserves to be underlined.
We know that it is very likely that iOS 16.5 officially landed on the iPhone by a protected Twitter account (via MacRumors) which shared specific details about previous iOS updates a week before their public unveiling. On this occasion, the account announced that the final version of iOS 16.5 will have the code 20F65
These are the improvements that iOS 16.5 will bring to the iPhone
Apple has been tweaking iOS 16.5 since the first betas at the end of March, and it’s reasonable to assume that its official release will take place before the presentation of iOS 17 at WWDC 2023. Here are the changes that will be introduced with iOS 16.5.
Sports tab in Apple News
Apple will include a new tab in the navigation menu of your news app in iOS 16.5. This new tab will give you direct access to all sports news such as results, standings and schedules of your favorite teams. The company seems determined to bolster its sports services after including Major League Soccer games on Apple TV+.
Screen recording via Siri
Another of the most interesting novelties – which have been discovered so far – of iOS 16.5 is a new screen recording method that will be activated via Siri. Just use voice command “Siri starts recording the screen”
That’s all we know so far about what’s new in the iOS 16.5 software update which will (probably) be released next week or even sooner. In a few weeks, more precisely on June 5, Apple will present all the improvements that will be included in iOS 17 during the WWDC23. From iPadízate we will carry out extensive coverage of the event so that you do not miss any detail.
