Mark Gurman recently revealed that the firm with the bitten apple logo has decided to wait until next year to announce its new Macs, so it wouldn’t be a delay due to supply chain issues. but rather a deliberate delay for marketing reasons.
New Mac product line with M2 chips will have never-before-seen power
Initially, everything seemed to indicate that Apple was going to present new models of MacBook Pro this same month of November. But the latest information reveals that this may end up not being the case.

“I’m told that Apple is aiming to introduce the updated models – including 14-inch and 16-inch versions of the M2 chip-based MacBook Pro – in the first calendar quarter of 2023.”
Also, on the other hand, Tim Cook himself pointed out that “the product line is established” at Apple’s last fiscal earnings conference, implying that we won’t have the arrival of new Mac equipment in 2022.
As if that weren’t enough, Luca Maestri, Apple’s CFO, also hinted that there would be no new Mac launches with these words:
“We have quite a challenge compared to last year, which had the advantage of launching our newly redesigned MacBook Pro with M1.”
Apple’s supply chain also confirms the postponement of the launch of new Mac computers until 2023. A Korean user known as eyes1122 posted a news item related to the delay on his blog, citing Apple’s own supply chain. Apple supply as source. .
