The museum retraces the 46 years of Apple’s history!
The admiration of an Apple fan has led to a complete space in honor of the firm, recently inaugurated. With 1,600 exhibitionsthe Polish Apple Museum headquartered in Warsaw, presents itself as “the largest and most complete in the world”.
The apple museum in Poland was created by architect and Apple collector, Jacek Lupina, who started the project in 2017 in her own home. Currently, the collection chronicles Apple’s 46-year historyyou can go from start to finish in its brand new headquarters housed in a former metallurgy factory.
As described on the official site of the complex, each of the devices will be presented in an unusual way, in a created and condensed audiovisual space. In this experience, the sets, the play of lights, the animations, the sounds and the mapping and computer graphics offer the spectator the ability to interact with the object in a unique environmentfull of social and cultural backgrounds and easy-to-understand technical information.
The largest apple museum in the world
One of the main attractions can be seen at the entrance to the museum. It is an Apple 1 replica, designed and made by the owner of the museum. This mimics the first personal computer that Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak sold in 1976. Additionally, the motherboard of the Apple 1 replica at the museum features a signature of Steve Wozniak himself.
Lupina, who was clearly asked about his dedication to this particular project, confirmed that its aim is to show how far the company has come and how much things have changed in over four decades.
My goal is for visitors to be able to see what the beginning was like, how primitive and very simple it was. The Apple 1 case was made of wood! Nothing to do with what we have today.
While there’s plenty to show, the Apple Museum doesn’t show all of the exhibits at once, as it periodically rotates themes. The collection includes Apple, Macintosh and NeXT computers, as well as iPhones, iPods and iPads.. In addition, on the walls there are old advertisements such as the famous “Think Different” campaign from 1997.
