Yesterday was WWDC, and Apple presented all its new operating systems: iOS17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14 there watchOS 10. It wasn’t the only thing, of course. The biggest thing about the keynote was the Vision Pro, Apple’s mixed reality glasses that we’ve been talking about for so long and that we finally know officially.
In iOS 17, there have been quite a few changes. It is true that in the visual section they may be a little behind, but there are many new features, system improvements and optimizations. Perhaps one of the sections that stands out the most is Safari, which has undergone many changes.
More Safaris. more apple
When you open the app, there doesn’t seem to be anything new. Everything is still in its place. However, as you use it, you notice the changes. Pressing the seek bar changes the animation to open the keyboard slightly. It’s not the most striking, far from it, but it’s a good point.
When you start typing, you will notice that the interface changes. Now it gives you more suggestions for searches you could do. If one convinces you, you don’t need to keep writing, just click on it. It will also suggest some links that might be useful and pages that look like what you are looking for and are in your history. East a much simpler and more thoughtful experience.
The history is also displayed differently. It’s a much more current look and in line with the design of the whole system. Also, stealth mode search is now blocked, so you have to use Face ID to access it. We understand this is so that someone with access to your iPhone can’t search for something without you knowing what it is. Crash when not in use, now Features anti-tracking and fingerprint protection.
The truth is that this new Safari makes a lot of sense. This infinitely more in tune with the rest of the system, includes essential security measures and is more intuitive. It uses the new keyboard that Apple also introduced, has better suggestions and is much more complete. An excellent browser to match an excellent operating system.
