Apple’s smart home display could arrive in 2025

Apple smart home display

We have been talking for many months, even years, about a supposed new product that Apple has been working on for a long time. It is nothing more and nothing less than the smart home display with a leaked homeOS operating system that would be a hybrid product between an Apple TV and a HomePod. A product that would allow users to have a screen with a speaker to simulate a photo frame, interact with Siri or listen to music while we consult notes or reminders of the day. Gurman assures that Apple has the device ready and we could see it in early 2025.

A nod to the iMac G4: it would be Apple’s smart home screen

In his new Sunday newsletter, analyst Mark Gurman published his leaks of the week focusing on the new product for Apple: a smart screen for the home. We have heard about this concept for a long time and we even dared to predict what the name of its operating system (homeOS) would be. However, Apple has never given any sign of a product of this style.

Gurman assures that it would be a smart screen compatible with Apple Intelligence what would it take a square screen the size of two iPhones placed side by side. In addition, in its material it would have a chip A18 this would allow a new operating system to run capable of launching applications like FaceTime, Notes or Calendar, and also a speaker for broadcasting audiovisual content. It would therefore apparently be a product somewhere between a HomePod and an Apple TV with screen.

Furthermore, the analyst assures that It will be relatively cheap and easy to place anywhere in the house with a homeOS operating system integrated into the Apple ecosystem. On the other hand, we also assure that the design of this new product would resemble the legendary iMac G4 with its circular lower part placed on a small base, as can be seen in the image which titles this article.

It looks like this product would be more than ready and Its marketing could begin in early 2025.
