The annual Black Friday weekend is a fantastic time to buy an Apple Watch, with big savings from a wide variety of retailers. Technically, it only lasts four days, from Black Friday (November 29, 2024) to Cyber Monday (December 2, 2024), but the deals start weeks before and last until December.
In this article, we'll share all the best Apple Watch deals in the run-up to Black Friday 2024 and throughout the event. We also share our tips on how to get the best deal on an Apple Watch, what to look for, and what to avoid. Apple does not offer discounts, but does have an annual sales event during Black Friday weekend. These are usually gift card offers rather than actual savings. For 2024, you can get a $50/£40 Apple gift card if you buy one Apple Watch SE on Apple's US site or Apple's UK site. In 2023, Apple also offered gift cards with the Apple Watch Series 9, but this year it is not doing the same for the Series 10.
Even though Apple doesn't reduce Apple Watch prices for Black Friday, many other retailers do. Below we share the best deals we've seen so far.

Apple Watch offers for Black Friday 2024: our advice
Apple currently sells three Apple Watches: the standard Apple Watch Series 10 (starting at $399/£399), the discounted Apple Watch SE (starting at $249/£219), and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 premium (from $799/£799). ). These are each available in a range of colors, materials and sizes, which may affect the price.
For most customers, the Apple Watch SE will be more than enough; However, the Series 10 offers a larger screen (with always-on functionality) and better health sensors. The Ultra is only worth buying if you live a life of adventure and need a watch that can handle the hazards of long hikes, perilous climbs, and scuba dives. You may also see deals on older models that Apple itself no longer sells. The Apple Watch Series 9 was released in fall 2023 and was only discontinued two months ago; it should still serve you perfectly. Besides, the 8 Series and the 1st generation Ultra were launched in fall 2022, at the same time as the current SE, so they should do well too. But we'd probably avoid anything older than that.
It is important to be aware that Black Friday will bring both bad and good deals. Retailers don't want to give you big deals; they want you to buy the stocks they don't want at a high price and will use all sorts of tricks to persuade you to do so. Don't let them get away with it.
Always check the current MSRP/RRP for the watch you are considering purchasing (we include these in all of our recommended offers). Apple tends to lower prices on older products every year, but retailers can easily forget to mention this and quote the old price instead. This makes their discount bigger and the offer more attractive. Some retailers also raise their own prices before Black Friday, then lower them and claim a significant saving. Price tracking sites like CamelCamelCamel can help you determine if this has happened. We will also report it if we see it.
It's worth checking reviews and buying guides (like ours, linked above) to gauge the age and value of the device. Make sure you don't get fooled by outdated inventory. Also be wary of deals on cellular models; This may sound like a big savings, but in our experience, there's no point in owning a cellular Apple Watch. You might as well pay less and get the standard model.
Ultimately, what really constitutes a good deal? US buyers should look to a benchmark of around $60 to $70 off current models and $100 or more off abandoned ones, as we saw in 2023. But transactions tend to be lower in the UK, where we struggled to find £30 off anything last year. We hope retailers do better this time around, but you may need to prepare yourself for disappointment.
