WhatsApp has been adding a number of features to its Android app for quite some time now. The last is power lock conversations with fingerprint so that only you can access it, and now you can try this novelty in Europe.

Meta Messaging app’s new feature lets you lock certain chats you don’t want which no one but you can access. This is done by following these steps:
- Open the conversation you want to block.
- Click on the name in the top bar of the conversation.
- Scroll down until you find the Lock Chat button.
- Click Lock this chat with a fingerprint.
After performing these steps, the app will disappear from the chat preview on the main app screen and will be hidden so that it does not appear at first glance every time you open the app .

The way to open this blocked chats section is to swipe down on the main screen. It will be displayed in the Archived section, at the very beginning. After putting the fingerprint, it will take you to a section where all your blocked chats are.
This blocking can only be carried out using the fingerprint, since the application has not activated the possibility of carrying out this blocking using a PIN code.

You should keep in mind that since the app itself warns you after you block any of your chats, those chats are only blocked on the current device, not the ones you linked to.
In other words, even if you block a conversation in your mobile application, it will still be possible to access it from your computer, so you will have to make sure that no one is accessing it from your linked devices.
