New logo for Chrome with some changes
And while the changes aren’t as noticeable if we compare the new Chrome icon to the one we saw over the past 8 years, the idea is to make the Chrome icon more flexible and adaptable across the different devices it appears on.
The new icon, via Android Police, uses new shades of green, red, yellow and blue so that it gives the feeling of being more vibrant when looking at it. Of course, the shadows that were on the outer ring of the Chrome icon are gone so that all four colors appear flat.

Another of the most obvious changes is the ratio used for the center circle blue interior. Take a little more size so that the outer ring is less wide.
The idea of this Chrome icon change is follow a modern brand which pushes technology in other directions in every device where the browser appears.
This change in the icon also will be noticed in Windows 10 or Windows 11 with a lighter gradient, while on MacOS it adopts a more 3D scheme.
A great novelty we will soon receive on our Android mobile devices in order to have this most modern and current icon after eight years without change.
