A few years ago, with the launch of Pixel Slate, Google made that clear Chrome OS became his app for laptops, convertibles and tablets, leaving all these years the Android tablet version has been completely abandoned.
Now The Android version of tablets is Chrome OS, both operating systems share their compatibility with Google Play apps and games, the Material Design interface and from now on. Chrome OS uses Android 10 body gestures.
Android Touch comes to Chrome OS
Developing i tablet mode of Chromebooks, Google has used its latest version ** new gestures ** to facilitate gesture navigation, especially if you're already using a mobile phone with Android 10. The gestures are as follows:
- To access the home screen in tablet mode you will need to slide at the bottom of the screen at the top.
- To view open apps you will need to slide from the bottom of the screen to the center of the screen.
- To return back now you can do it by moving from the left side of the screen.
- To open the app drawer now you will have to swipe from the bottom of the home screen.
Chrome browser compatible with tablets
Google is also updating the browser Chrome to improve its use of tablets. Now lets you open a new tab with the big button, and rearrange tabs by dragging and closing tabs by expanding.
