Google keyboard is about to receive a major update with new functions quite useful, according to 9to5Google. With the new update, there will be improvements to the interface through custom themes, as well as additional functions for the clipboard.
In the same way, new spelling settings will arrive, so this update should be quite relevant. The information comes from APK’s own code, which gives us clues about these future functions. Not osbtante, there is still no official date for the arrival of this update.
Important Google Keyboard Changes
The first major change to come to the Google keyboard concerns themes. They are redesigned to have more rounded corners, increase margins and slightly change their appearance. Currently, some beta users are already seeing the “new design” option, being able to see how the themes change from the previous ones.
Google’s clipboard will be able to copy screenshots, a very useful function to save time
The second change is with the Gboard clipboard, one of your best options. The Google keyboard is able to suggest us to copy what we have pasted to the clipboard, so that the copying and pasting process is much faster. Depending on the application code, the clipboard will have an integration to paste screenshots
The third big improvement concerns the spelling and grammar settings. There will be an option which will highlight any spelling mistakes when typing. This is a good way to quickly see which parts of our text aren’t written perfectly, as the keyboard checker itself can sometimes crash.
