Powerful, with a good screen and a unique rear
Nothing started by distinguishing the back of its phones to make them brighter, more unique, different from other phones. Because seeing a Nothing Phone from behind leaves no doubt, it is a Nothing. And CMF sought the same thing with the Phone 1, but without lights.
Colors, a certain industrial air, a LEGO style and a screw on the back that not only brings a contrasting detail, but also allows the gripping of accessories. A stand, a carrying strap… The CMF Phone 1 adds both utility and distinction. And without increasing the price of the phone.
In terms of hardware, the CMF Phone 1 isn’t exactly small, starting with the screen: the 6.67-inch AMOLED panel It offers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and has a top hole for the 16-megapixel front camera. The maximum brightness reaches 2,000 nits, always for HDR content and measured in a localized area of the screen.
In terms of raw power, the CMF Phone 1 relies on a Dimensity 7300 that is more than solvent in terms of performance, energy efficiency and graphics processing. It is accompanied by 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage; without losing expansion space thanks to SD memory of up to 2TB.
Nothing puts everything in photography on a rear camera: 50 megapixel sensor with a secondary dedicated to measuring depth in portrait mode. F/1.8 aperture, recording up to 4K and 30 fps, digital stabilization (EIS) and with night mode in the camera app.
The CMF Phone 1 has a 5,000mAh battery and supports fast charging up to 33W (without the charger in the box). Updated to Android 14, it offers an under-display fingerprint reader and is protected against dust and water with IP52 certification.
