Apple has just launched with the latest updates to iPadOS, iOS and macOS a new application designed for teamwork and which will allow users increase productivity on your devices.
free form is a space that allows users to create, organize and manage canvases for school or professional projects to work on them through collaboration and the unique experience of being able to draw, drag, copy, paste, write and more.
Its ability to bring together texts, graphics, files and other content makes this whiteboard a very functional and effective tool when it comes to capture ideas.
the free form is available for free on all compatible iPhone, iPad and Mac models with iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2 or macOS Ventura 13.1. And to access it, you must do the following:
- Go to the Settings app on your device.
- Log in to your Apple ID and navigate to the “iCloud” section.
- Select “Show all”).
- Scroll down and enable “Freeform”.
The request must appear automatically on your home screen with other apps. It is important to mention that if you are an Apple Pencil user, you need to do the following setting:
Go to the Settings app > Swipe down and find the Freeform app > go to its Freeform settings > in the Apple Pencil section, enable Select and Scroll.

What can I do with Freeform?
FreeForm has a canvas with great tools and features that will allow you to work in a unique and incredible way.
Draw
You can draw, annotate, or write whether or not you have an Apple Pencil. Choose between different types of pencils so you can draw whatever you want. As we are used to, this section will allow you to adjust the thickness, color and drawing mode (finger or Apple Pencil).

How to change sharing options
If your canvas is already shared and you want to make it private or adjust sharing, locate the collaboration icon in the top bar to see more options. Here you can manage collaboration through messages, voice or video calls.
By touching the collaboration icon, you can view and adjust:
- Whiteboard access and viewing or editing rights.
- Readjust the sharing options if necessary
- Copy link
- stop sharing
