The actor says goodbye to one of Apple’s best-selling iPhones!
Until recently Chris Evans and Tom Bradley had something in common. And this has nothing to do with their work, but with their habits. And did the two celebrities have been using an iPhone 6 for a few years. However, the actor in charge of the main role in the Apple TV+ series Defending Jacob decided upgrade to an iPhone 13.
The news was shared by Evans via his Instagram account. the famous actor made the post as a farewell for the time split with the device
RIP iPhone 6s. We had a good race. I will miss your home button.
In his publication, the famous Captain America of the Marvel universe revealed the reasons for the farewell and shared some anecdotes about his beloved iPhone 6s.
“I won’t miss the night battle trying to get you to charge. Or your grainy photos. Or its sudden drops from 100% battery to 15%, completely dead, all within minutes. It was a mad rush. Keep calm, my friend.
Captain America also wants the latest iPhone
But Evans didn’t say goodbye to any iPhone, but to one of the most successful models. Launched in 2014, the iPhone 6 reached a record 231 million units sold and thus became the third best-selling mobile phone in history. In 2015, it is the turn of iPhone 6S, which was the best-selling iPhone in its first weekend. With 13 million units sold, it exceeds the 10 million of its predecessor.
Everything indicates that it was not a choice, but the consequence of the weather that forced Evans to leave his iPhone 6s for the latest iPhone 13. Although this was undoubtedly a timely situation, considering that this model is among the list of iPhones without iOS 16 support.
Of course, many will wonder if it wasn’t worth the wait for the iPhone 14 to launch this year. But as his experience with the iPhone 6 confirmed, having the latest device of the year is not a priority for this movie starthis latest acquisition could therefore easily accompany it for a few more years.
