Amazfit’s ecosystem of connected devices continues to grow and strengthen season after season. We now have a new renovation in hand, which represents the fourth generation of its GTR and GTS watches which started with the GTS 4 Mini and now receives the new Amazfit GTR 4 and Amazfit GTS 4.
The watches retain the physical characteristics that set them apart from the previous generation. The GTR is round (R for Round) and the GTS is rectangular (S for Squared). In addition, the internal equipment is improved and the same goes for the software, although one of the main novelties is the incorporation of calls via Bluetooth.

Two sizes, two designs, two autonomy, same spirit
We have in hand two smartwatches signed Amazfit and which, for the most part, are the same watch but with clear differences. They are said to be identical because they share connectivity, software, geopositioning system and even water resistance. Both can be submerged and withstand up to 5 atmospheres of pressure
They both incorporate new bluetooth calls thanks to a built-in speaker and microphone, although they will continue to rely on mobile for this as they do not have eSIM for mobile connectivity. They are also compatible with iOS and Android systems and integrate the increasingly popular Zepp OS 2.0 to carry out all the processes.
But on the outside things change, as the Amazfit GTS 4 is rectangular, has a 1.75-inch AMOLED screen and an 8-day battery life thanks to an internal 300 mAh battery. The Amazfit GTR 4, however, is round and measures 1.43 inches, although its autonomy is greater (2 weeks) thanks to an internal 475 mAh battery.
By the way, they also attach sensors to the new Biotracker 4.0 PPG which collects up to 33% more data than the previous generation, and it is also more accurate. It is he who is responsible for measuring our pulse, our blood oxygen saturation and our level of stress, as well as supplements such as the measurement of sleep or breathing.
Versions and prices of the Amazfit GTS 4 and Amazfit GTR 4
The new Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 are already official devices, although Europe is not among the countries chosen for its first European deployment. Gonna have to wait a bit know the prices in our country. We will be attentive.
