Good news for users and fans of the Delta emulator on Apple, the version dedicated to the iPad is now available
It has been common for a few months to talk about emulators in the Apple environment. We know that it is already a success in the case of Delta since it has recorded more than 10 million downloads. There were rumors and then confirmations that the dedicated application for iPad would be ready very soon and that day has arrived, AltStore team has already revealed that version 1.6 is available.
If you own an iPad, you can now download Delta to enjoy the best Apple emulators
Oddly enough, it was expected that this type of applications would be available in alternative stores. What is already a reality is that by allowing emulators worldwide and not just in the EU, Apple has exploited the full potential of developers and users and there were no restrictions of any kind. Delta is one of the most popular in the App Store and is on the charts.
In Delta, it is possible to revive games once enjoyed on old Nintendo consoles. such as NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS, Game Boy and Game Boy Advance. The arrival on iPad will allow you to enjoy titles on a larger screen and also in full screen.
Exclusively for iPad, Delta is compatible with Split View and Stage Manager. Pause can also be invoked when switching to another window or application as an option. As if that wasn’t enough, Delta supports connecting remote controls. Riley Testut, the brains behind Delta, reminds his users that Emulated titles are transferred between devices
Delta continues to improve the experience with internal enhancements
Delta’s initial setup will improve significantly for users who have already used the app. Riley Testut indicates that internal changes. For example, BIOS files will no longer be needed. Specifically, Users who play Nintendo DS games will notice improved performance
Regarding the iPad app, Testut reported that Delta was not launched for iPad because they did not consider it a priority.. They were initially supposed to stick to a launch plan for their alternative app store, as we explained above. AltStore PAL is currently not compatible with iPad. Thanks to Apple bridging the gap in terms of emulators worldwide, it has been easier to sign up for the App Store and follow the corresponding procedure to create Delta for iPad.
Support for Testut and Delta has been very well received, if you would like to support their cause Patreon is available. Delta can be downloaded for free via the App Store.
