Google Digital Wellness mode is a function that you can set it's time to come home. When the time comes, the cell becomes darker and whiter and the interrupt mode is activated, so that more notifications can be shown.
Vacation mode – also known as Wind Down – is not a parental control, so you can do it whenever you want, even if you leave the notification itself. However, the latest update gives you another option: postpone 30 minutes.
30 minutes extra time
Google's Google TV, as well as recovery mode, want to help you control and reduce your mobile usage limit. In break mode you can do it directly after a while the cell phone will turn black and white and uninterrupted mode is automatically activated. This is optional, and you should configure it from Android> Digital Wellness settings.
When the time comes, the phone turns black and white (if you stop it) and the notification indicates that sleep mode is activated. To date, this alert only allows you to "activate now." If you need more time, you can disable it, but you should remember to use it again.
The digital Wellness beta is now exploring a second option: pause for 30 minutes, which turns out to be something like a mode Snooze for alarm, but for recovery mode. That is, you press it and it will be turned off, but only temporarily. After 30 minutes, it will work again.
This way, if there is something important to do, you will have an extra 30 minutes to do it again without having to go to settings and reset it. The good news is that the alert is always active, so if it takes less than 30 minutes, you can do it enable rest mode Immediately from the notification itself.
This function is already available in the Digital Wellbeing beta for Android, although as usual it is optimized for the first part of other users' servers. You can sign up for the beta from Google Play and download the APK from APKMirror.
