Yesterday we encountered the OnePlus Nord CE and the next one in the line of leaks is the OnePlus Nord 2, the long-awaited successor to the OnePlus North last year and, in principle, the most powerful mobile in its series.
According to the leaks, important changes are coming to the OnePlus Nord 2. For starters, OnePlus I would trade Qualcomm for MediaTek, going from the previous generation Snapdragon 765G to a Dimensity 1200. On paper, this is a more powerful processor, being the top of the range from MediaTek.
On the screen, the leaks tell us little change: 6.4-inch AMOLED panel, Full HD + resolution, Integrated fingerprint and 90Hz refresh, as in the previous generation. The variants seem to stay the same: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB.
Where it looks like there will be major changes is the cameras. For starters, the OnePlus North would have a 32 megapixel front camera, a lens and also perforated in the screen, in place of the double sensor of its predecessor.
According to the leak, the OnePlus Nord 2 is said to have two fewer lenses than its predecessor: a single front camera and a triple rear camera.
Behind, the OnePlus Nord 2 is also likely to miss another goal. The leak tells us about a Triple 50 megapixel camera with Sony IMX766 sensor, with an 8 megapixel sensor and a 2 megapixel sensor whose characteristics are unknown.
