It’s Friday! And although the rains could ruin part of the weekend in parts of Europe, the festivities of Sant Jordi or Book Day should liven up the streets. But what is there after? There is sofa and seriesand Apple is ready when you’re lying in the living room or in bed.
Apple continues to bet on documentaries and big stars
Trailer of the week arrives with ‘prehistoric planet‘, a documentary series narrated by David Attenborough that will look at the coastal life of dinosaurs millions of years ago. We will be able to see its five episodes from May 23.
The other good news is ‘Now‘, a Spanish and bilingual production in the style of ‘I know what you did last summer’ which will tell the reunion of a group of people who witnessed an incident in Miami that they preferred to hide and now comes back to haunt them.
And another new breakthrough that came without warning is that of ‘The big con‘, another documentary in which we will be told how an American lawyer managed to pocket more than 500 million dollars by deceiving American social security. There will be four episodes that we can watch starting May 6.
Apple itself also announced that Idris Elba will join the catalog with a new series called ‘Divert‘. There will be seven episodes produced and featuring the actor recounting the hijacking of a plane making a seven-hour journey to London. Seven episodes, seven hours. Interesting painting. Filming hasn’t started yet, so it will take some time to see it come out.
Finally, we have some sad news: Actor F. Murray Abraham, who plays frustrated sci-fi writer CW Longbottom in “Mythic Quest,” announced without giving details that will not be present in the third season of the series. He was a supporting character, but in the second season he starred in some of the best episodes of the entire series. Shame.
Don’t forget that today we have the premiere of the latest episode of ‘WeCrashed’ and new episodes of ‘Pachinko’ and ‘Slow Horses’. You also have the “Roar” episodes available in case you don’t have enough with everything else. Enjoy!
