Now you can remotely share Disney + series and movies with your friends and family!
The days when we had to wait to share our favorite moments from the classics we grew up with or the latest offers from the interesting Marvel Universe are officially over. As of this week, SharePlay, the option that allows us to share content from different platforms via a FaceTime call, is already compatible with Disney +.
According to a statement released by Disney, SharePlay support is available worldwide for the entire Disney + content catalog from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more.
Disney + now supports SharePlay
The update through which we can share the Disney + app with other iPhone, iPad and Apple TV users is available from versions of iOS 15.1, iPadOS 15.1, tvOS 15.1. As well as the latest version of the Disney + application which is now implemented in the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
And as we’ve shared previously, with that criteria on any of the Apple devices and a Disney + subscription, you’re ready to launch SharePlay by opening the app and tapping play on the content you want to see. . The function offers shared playback controls such as play, pause, fast forward and rewind.
How to watch Disney + using SharePlay
To share a program within Disney + using Share Play, respecting the conditions mentioned above, all you have to do is:
- Start a FaceTime call from iPhone or iPad
- Swipe up from the bottom edge of the FaceTime call, and open a SharePlay-enabled online video service app. Watch FaceTime Video Call Movie on iPhone
- Choose a movie or TV show and press to play. If prompted, tap SharePlay.
One of Apple’s most interesting options for interacting with our contacts in real time, it is reaching more and more platforms, recreating the old habit of sharing a program in front of the screen, now remotely. Have you ever tried it?
