Newton’s third law states that for every force applied to a body, there will be another force of equal magnitude in the opposite direction. Is the reason why airplane windows are rounded or submarines are oval shaped: Water pressure is not to be taken as a joke, it can make anything burst. Or almost, because someone found an iPhone at the bottom of the sea and it was perfect.
We have a good example of this in Orlando, Florida. We have a company there called 4ocean, run by Alex Schulze, who is dedicated to cleaning up the seabed in that part of the United States. Alex is used to finding cell phones in that context, but What was never found was the one that worked. Should I say what brand this phone was?
An iPhone at the bottom of Boca Raton Inlet that still worked
As Click Orlando explains, Schulze came across an iPhone lying on the bottom of the sea. The good news was that it was in a resealable plastic bag with a clear waterproof cover. That saved him: the combination of the phone’s durability and that case and bag allowed the iPhone to has not been damaged by the corrosive action of salt water.
Schulze retrieved the phone from the bottom of the sea, brought it to his office and checked that it loaded correctly. When he was able to restart it, he could see a list of emergency contacts on its screen: this meant that its owner had activated lost mode from the Find My app.
“I can’t believe you found my son’s phone.”
One of those emergency contacts was the owner’s mother, who answered Schulze’s call. This surprised her and she quickly said, “I can’t believe you found my son’s phone.” She was the one who went to the 4ocean offices and retrieved her son’s iPhone, revealing that he had lost it a few days ago.
This iPhone may have recovered in just a few days, but we’ve also seen examples of models that have disappeared almost a year underwater and they could be recovered in good working order after charging them. Of course, Apple has done its homework in terms of resistance to the worst conditions, even if The most important thing is that whoever finds it has the good will to search for its owner.. If you find a lost iPhone, we encourage you to return it.
