So far this week we have had larger service drops than in previous months. The very notorious downfall of Google services when we tried to connect with our user was added to that of Spotify shortly after. Today it’s the turn of Telegram, which is not working in Europe due to the fall of its servers in Europe.
Telegram is down and cannot be used
The popular messaging and group communication app has been showing issues for a few minutes and, according to Downdetector, it’s not just in Europe.
The worst is Western Europe, as we can see from the incident map.
The issues started to be reported after 2 p.m. Spanish Peninsula Time, but it wasn’t until about 30 minutes later that the impact increased.
The most numerous problems are those reported by users to the unable to connect to servers. Others, those who can, come unable to send and receive messages, and some they can’t even log in with their username and password.
The company itself communicated the incident using its Twitter profile for Europe, as we can read.
Some of our users, mostly from Europe and the Middle East, are having connection issues. We are working to get them back online. Please wait. Sorry for the inconvenience!

So you just have to wait for them to resolve the failures that caused the problems in the servers, which affect Western Europe but also the Middle East.
