These new shipments will begin to be made in the Madrid town of Alcobendas and will include five autonomous robots that will be responsible for transporting products from the brand’s establishment to customers’ homes.
This service is already active, and according to the company, this decision was taken to improve its service hand in hand with new technologies. It’s user-friendly and adds to other sustainable means of delivery the company has already tested, such as electric motorcycles.
Domino’s pizza starts using autonomous robots in Europe
If you live in Alcobendas and order a pizza from Domino’s, you might be surprised that it’s delivered by an autonomous robot thanks to the company’s alliance with Goggo Network through which five autonomous robots have been put available to customers.
They are fully electric devices that are equipped with cameras, radars and ultrasonic sensors to be able to avoid obstacles in their path and correctly reach their destination in the shortest possible time.
