Verification for everyone has not been as easy as Elon Musk imagined!
Elon Musk is determined to change Twitter as we know it: But whether that’s for better or for worse remains to be seen. Thus, the list of changes of the majority shareholder of the social network continues to grow and this time adds a proposal to add new colors to the blue checks of Twitter.
This update consists of offering three colors depending on the type of verification to which a given account corresponds. The information shared directly from Musk’s Twitter account adds that it will be available from next Friday.
Sorry for the delay, we’re tentatively launching Verified Friday next week.
Gold check for businesses, gray check for government, blue for individuals (celebrity or not) and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before the check is activated.
Painful, but necessary.

Sorry for the delay, we will tentatively launch Verified on Friday next week.
As currently approved, verification options will include color verification gold for business, gray for government, blue for individuals (celebrities or not) and all verified accounts are manually authenticated before celebrity verification is activated.
Elon also wants to change the verifications
Twitter’s new CEO also explained that the same verified blue tick will apply to everyone. The previous criterion of “notable people” was too subjective.
When verified individuals are part of a verified organization, may have a secondary logo to indicate this, when they have been verified by the verified organization.
However, it remains to be seen if there will be another new verification condition within the social network. Until now, Twitter requires proof of identity in the form of a photograph government-issued photo ID, usually a passport or driver’s license.
The move follows the disaster that occurred when Twitter allowed users of the Twitter Blue payment service to benefit from the verification process, allowing fake accounts with brand names or personalities to display the blue check.
Although the solution is in progress, a question remains for the rest of the users with verified accounts, who are not subscribed to the service. And that is precisely if they can maintain this status without paying for it.
