The new beta version of iOS 15.2 launched a few hours ago adds a series of new features eagerly awaited by users and is that in addition to the news of user voice recognition for HomePod, the new beta version iOS also adds changes to Apple Music and playlists.
In this sense, what we have on the table with this improvement for Apple Music is the possibility of search for a song directly in a playlist, that is, being able to find this song in the list thanks to an integrated search engine that appears at the top.
The option to find songs in an Apple Music playlist is now in beta
This option is somewhat hidden in the new beta and for those who have iOS 15.2 beta installed and have an Apple Music subscription account, they can try this new option to find a song in a playlist. All you have to do is access the playlist you want, “scroll” down so that the search option appears at the top of the iPhone. There we have the possibility to find a specific topic in a list.
Arguably this search option should have been implemented for a long time as it is something pretty basic to find a topic we like in any reading list. This does not mean that the Apple Music service has to improve slowly, but here the “better late than never” prevails. This time the options available to search for a specific topic are already active in the app, we hope that they will continue to improve some aspects of Apple Music. If there are no more changes, this option It will officially arrive with the release of iOS 15.2 before the end of the year.
