One of the novelties of iOS 16 is the possibility of configuring the lock screen of our iPhone and create custom wallpapers. One of the options for these backgrounds is to use up to six emojis to create a unique design. Let’s look at all the options we have.
Emojis, emojis and more emojis
Creating a personalized wallpaper with our favorite emojis is really easy. The system also allows us apply different effects, as well as change the color of the background itself to be able to make it look exactly the way we want. Assuming we are running iOS 16 or later on our iPhone, here are the steps to follow.
- We unlock our iPhone and long press the screen.
- We touch the blue “+” at the bottom right of the screen.
- At the top we choose emoji.
- We write our favorite emojis, with a maximum of six.
- We press the little “x” to close the selector.
- We touch the button in the form of three dots.
- we choose Funds.
- We choose the color we are interested in and use the slider to make it more or less saturated. Alternatively, we can press the multicolor button at the top left to be able to choose any color.

- We press OKAY.
- We touch in the center of the screen.
Clever. Note that in step six, we can also press the emoji-shaped button at the bottom left to again choose the emojis we want to add to the background. Here it is also interesting that we can repeat any of them or we try to vary the orderWell, the effects of that are quite interesting.
