Epic Games You just left the battle you were facing with Google for the popular 30% commission on app stores. While the developer left his payment on the Apple App Store, Android skipped that commission by unlocking Fortnite from outside the Play Store.
However, 18 months later, the famous battle of the war Fortnite is officially coming to Google Play, to accept Google's pricing, similar to what any developer receives when published in the Google Play Store. Google makes no difference.
Fortnite is now downloaded just like any other Android game
Epic Games acknowledges that they have changed "everything" because of the difficulty that Fortnite is suffering from publication from outside the Play Store. The developer blames Google Play Protiv, which claims to protect software from unknown sources to protect malware, which pays for its download.
Of course, not everyone knows how to install apps from outside of Google Play. Installing and editing Fortnite installations was a setback for many professional users, mostly for fear of downloading some illegal installer. You can now download Fortnite comfortably and safely with The toy store.
Epic Games has announced that it will keep the two versions updated, the new one from Google Play and the one released almost two years ago that will be updated from its game.
