The October Apple event brought us new MacBook Pros, with powerful M1 Pro and M1 Max processors, and new AirPods 3. And the company probably won’t be presenting anything else for the rest of the year, however. . there are several devices that have not yet been released and that we all hope.
Apple typically doesn’t host events beyond October unless something strange happens, so we will have to wait until 2022 to discover all these devices that have not yet been presented.
Mac mini
Many thought that Apple might be considering releasing a new, refreshed Mac mini alongside the new MacBook Pros, including their new processors. However, it seems that this new Mac mini will not arrive until 2022

Probably the new Mac mini is presented alongside the new MacBook Air sometime in 2022, and it arrives with a slimmer design and a supposed M2 chip. A more powerful and efficient successor to the M1, but without reaching the M1 Pro.
iMac Pro
The successor to the current 27-inch iMac, one of the few Macs to continue to sell with Intel processors. After the renewal of the 24-inch iMac, we all expected a bigger iMac, we’re talking about 30 inches in size, which would incorporate the new processor of the MacBook Pro.
It is likely that this iMac with a larger screen and M1 Pro and M1 Max processors to be introduced in early 2022. It will have a design similar to the iMac with M1, more screen and a lot more power.
ipad air
This year we have not had an iPad Air renewalYes, we’ve seen a new iPad mini, which appears to be a miniature iPad Air, but incorporates a more powerful chip: the A15 Bionic.
With a bit of luck Apple renews it at the end of 2022, possibly including the A16 processor which integrates the new generation of iPhone 14. We will see if it includes other new features.
Mac Pro with Apple Silicon chip
This is probably Apple’s biggest challenge. The Mac Pro is your most powerful computer, and the transition to Apple Silicon makes it the last to be updated. With the M1 Pro and M1 Max, we’ve already seen that Apple is able to double the power with little effort, and the Mac Pro will do that and more.
This device will use a new generation of M1 chips, which can probably be more powerful because they won’t need to be as efficient. After all, the Mac Pro isn’t a laptop, so power consumption isn’t that much. Apple is expected to present it by the end of 2022.
Macbook Air
Finally, we have the new MacBook Air. Keep in mind that the current model takes advantage of the previous design and introduces the M1 chip, so it needs a good overhaul. Hope Apple will introduce it somewhere in 2022.
These are all the devices that Apple could have introduced in 2021 and that he did not. Probably in 2022 we will see how the company presents almost all of them.
