Apple’s era of spatial computing already has a start date. Apple has confirmed that the Vision Pro will be available for pre-order in the US starting January 19, with an official launch on February 2. The company’s first major objective for 2024 is clear.
And thanks to this information, interesting details were revealed about everything that will be included in the Vision Pro box. These are accessories and accessories that give us an idea of what the first experience with this brand new Apple product will be like. We’ll take a look.
Two straps, cushions and of course the external battery with its cable
The Vision Pro won’t come cheap at the base price of $3,499, so it’s important to know what’s included in the box. Apple’s press release solves the problem for us:
- Nail “Solo” strap adjustable, which will attach to the head from behind. Covering more surface area in this area will ensure good adhesion.
- Nail correa “Dual” with closures at the back and on the top of the head, for those who prefer to be able to support part of the weight of the Vision Pro from above. The user will be able to choose between one of these two straps, both will be included in the box. This image shows what the two straps look like:
- And “seal” which will be placed between the Vision Pro itself and our face. This will be what comes into contact with the area around our eyes and blocks outside light. Also included two cushions so we can fit this joint correctly.
- Nail external cover to protect the exterior glass of the Vision Pro when we are not using them.
- And fabric with which to clean the viewer. Yes, it could be this fabric.
- Nail Extreme Batterydesigned to fit in your pocket while using the Vision Pro.
- And USB-C cable to charge this external battery, with a AC adapter compatible.
The Vision Pro’s box itself hasn’t been revealed yet, but we’re guessing it won’t be exactly small considering all the components and accessories. These new Apple Glasses will need to be properly adjusted before first use, so they will likely include a guide for the unpacking be simple.
Vision Pro optional accessories
Remember that the Vision Pro will also have some accessories that some will need. Will have custom lenses for $99 and Zeiss lenses with custom prescription for $149. This will be a must-buy for those who wear glasses and/or contact lenses.
Beyond that, there are already third-party manufacturers who have also prepared their own finishes for Vision Pro straps. Speck, for example, has also prepared cases, covers and protectors for the external battery. With every new Apple product, an accessories business emerges around it.
