We have just completed a hectic Apple semester. Although the only event organized by the company is the WWDC23we must admit that it was worth the wait: neither more nor less than the presentation of a new platform like visionOS, and a device – the Apple Vision Pro.
But without a doubt, the key point for the company is the developers. They are the ones who animate the ecosystem, make it more interesting and contribute new perspectives and experiences based on the company’s proposal. In the case of the Vision Pro, it was something urgent: the company could no longer keep something like this a secret, and despite the fact that there is still a year left for its official launch, the developers must put it now.
In fact, only in the first hours of availability Incredible results were already visible from the first version of the development kit for visionOS.
We spoke to a developer who was there: Mark Villacampa
This week, I had the opportunity to interview Marc Villacampaone of the Spanish developers who was invited by Apple to attend WWDC23 in person at Apple Park. Mark currently works for RevenueCat, a platform to help developers integrate and optimize their in-app subscriptions.
“Being there is something incredible”
What Mark tells us is very interesting, even if I stick to one of his reflections, and it is the possibility that we still see More Powerful Vision Promaybe with a chip like M2 Pro or M2 Max. “They would be perfect to be able to take advantage of this power in video games”
We end this season of live broadcasts and the podcast with this episode – in my opinion I think the content that Mark offers us It’s the perfect culmination of a few months of vertigo. But beware, nothing compared to what’s to come… We’ll come back to Applesfera Talks at the end of August, when the iPhone 15 event has been officially announced – in the meantime, we continue reading in Applesfera.
Thank you all for making us the leader in tech podcasts this season! you can listen and follow The Applesfera Talks from your favorite podcast app, like Apple Podcasts, iVoox or Spotify.
