In recent months, Facebook for Android has received a number of improvements to its design and user experience. However, the coronavirus crisis has increased users' traffic on social networks, and this has several consequences.
What is more specific is that the longer the usage per user, the more the interaction rate goes up, something that can save us a minute. Probably the only thing you want is to quietly go on Facebook to see the pictures your mother has posted and not pay attention to the 300 things notifications that all your contacts make in a time of crisis. And Facebook knows it.
Facebook for Android now has a quiet mode for staying as long as you need
Digital Wellbeing is an excellent tool for controlling our mobile phone, but you can't have instant and memorized notification control at the same time.
One of the benefits of Android that we love so much is notification management, the ability to mute each type of notification, or the powerful functionality that doesn't interrupt which hides almost all notifications. The problem with these methods is that they are designed at system level and we cannot "silence Facebook momentarily" while our other phones are still the same. This problem requires specific intervention from the program itself, and that's what they've done.

Facebook's silent mode silences many Facebook notifications so we do not bother with the program. It's an easy-to-access mode from the notification settings (which will now be visible to users) and if it's active will show that we have this option to remind you to use the application's average usage.
This feature should come out a few hours ago, so you may need to update the app or wait for the server to release a new functionality on your device.
