With a permanently connected mobile phone, so many activities can be done, it is not necessary to attach to home WiFi to listen to music, watch Netflix or enjoy what they offer on television. Well, maybe on TV the programs you don't like are not many, but I'm sure more than once you want to access channels where they do something interesting. And yes, a cell phone is worth it.
As is often the case in Android, there are many apps that promise to offer DTT streaming broadcasts, but there aren't many that really fulfill what they were promised. And to a few of my favorites: TDT Channels, a personal project that not only works well when watching TV, but also is renewed often
All DTT channels on your mobile phone
TDT stations are a complete app with not only open television channels, and also Spanish-language radios, all accessible via a pair of pulsations and direct. Of course, an app can consume a lot of data when used by cellular networks, so you have to take special care, especially at very limited rates. Otherwise the TDT Channel is ready: well-designed, with updated channels and now with more options
The TV viewing app was recently updated to include a missing feature: favorites. Now it is possible choose which channels are kept as popular to avoid looking at them in a large list of options; an option that is expanded to radio stations. Radio filtering by the Autonomous Community is included and the media player used for broadcasting has been improved. And one last important point: TDT channels will warn when a new version is available.
This TV viewing app is not available in the Play Store: Google, and television networks, do not allow such applications. If you want to install it you should go to Marc Vila GitHub, its developer: download Apk there and install it on your Android. The app is free, ad-free and developed from an open source.
