In September of this year, the vivo Y22S and vivo Y35 arrived in Europe as low-end mobiles. Now the Chinese company has announced the availability of the vivo Y35 5G which, unlike the 4G version, uses the Dimensity 700 chip instead of the Snapdragon 680.

Vivo has not only been tasked with providing the new vivo Y35 with a 5G connection, and there are other noticeable changes if compared to the 4G model. First, instead of the Snapdragon 680 chip, used for size 700.

On the screen he has 6.51″ LCD display with panel with the same notch located in the upper central part and a resolution that switches to HD+ instead of FHD+. Another change concerns the refresh rate, which is reduced from 90 to 60 Hz.

As for the cameras, there are changes. Dual system with a 50MP main and a 2MP macro. And it is that the 4G model had three cameras. On the front it is reduced to 5 Mpx unlike 4G which reaches 16 Mpx.

At the speed of fast charging drops to 15 W against the 44 W of 4G, even if it retains the same capacity with 5,000 mAh. But perhaps the most important detail is in the version of the operating system, since it goes from Android 11 to Android 13 with OriginOS Ocean. The side fingerprint reader, 3.5mm mini-jack and USB Type-C port remain.

Availability and prices

El vivo Y35 5G llega en colores negro, oro y azul con tres opciones distintas en la memoria. La variante 4 GB / 128 GB se queda en los 160 dollars al cambio, otra de 6 GB / 128 GB por 190 dollars y la tercera, la de 8 GB y 128 GB de interna, por unos 205 dollars. De momento se ha lanzado en China sin saber si llegará a España en algún momento.
