The afternoon lifted our spirits and Mark Gurman doesn’t want to miss the party. This afternoon, several independent sources confirmed that tomorrow we will hear from Apple, and now the Bloomberg editor has appeared to detail what we will see.
And what we’re going to see is what a lot of people have been waiting for months and months: new MacBook Pros. They wouldn’t change too much on the outside, but on the inside they would have upgrades and new chips.

It’s time for the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips
New MacBook Pros are imminent (Apple has an announcement tomorrow – with press briefings later this week and embargoes lifting next Monday). New Macs arriving early this year were first reported here in October https://t.co/P34OdoMRgZ https://t.co/9JlQ0ueBO1

Gurman even went so far as to break down what we’re going to have:
- Tomorrow, Tuesday, news will be announced via press release and web updates.
- Sometime after the following day, Apple will summon members of the press to describe the new features.
- Next Monday will appear the first analyzes, the fruit of those lucky ones who have signed a confidentiality agreement.
The most interesting MacBook Pros are expected to be the new M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, which should be an improvement over its predecessors and perhaps a first taste of what 3nm technology has to offer. Specifications such as CPU and GPU cores or RAM will improve slightly.
We don’t know if we’ll see more news outside of these MacBook Pros, but even this laptop will appease many people who have been waiting too long. And who knows, maybe this will ensure that models with M1 chips will continue to be sold but at a lower price.
