Log in quickly and securely
As the Find My Device network continues to expand, whenever you want to find one of your phones using the app on another, you must enter your password or check “Don’t ask again”, which is not too optimal. Stop Asking means anyone with access to your mobile will be able to see where your devices are registered on the network.
There will soon be an option that presents the best of both worlds: use biometrics. This way, only you can quickly log in to Find My Device and locate your mobile or other devices. This change will only affect you when using one of your phones to search for devices and not a friend’s, as it depends on the biometrics set up on the phone.
Lock mobile with phone number
Even more interesting is the novelty called Remote lock
Instead, Google says you can lock your mobile screen only with your phone number and opening the website android.com/lock. It is not yet entirely clear how the system will work, so we will have to wait until it is active to find out the conditions of use.
